Outside Layer 1

3mm thick Aluminum Composite Material (ACM) comprised of aluminum sheet front and back with polyethylene core. Minimum flame spread rating of Class C, tested and classified in accordance with ASTM E84 or UL 723.

Outside Layer 2

½” thick Medium Density Fiberboard (MDF). Minimum flame spread rating of Class C, tested and classified in accordance with ASTM E84 or UL 723.

Inside Layer 1

3mm thick Aluminum Composite Material (ACM) – same as noted above.

Inside Layer 2

½” thick Fire-Retardant-Treated (FRT) plywood as defined by the IBC. The material shall have been tested in accordance with ASTM E84 or UL 723 and have a listed flame spread of 25 or less (Class A). Additionally, the material shall have passed the ASTM E84 or UL 723 extended burn test showing that during the additional 20-minute period, the flame front had not progressed more than 10.5 feet beyond the centerline of the burners at any time during the test.

Rigid Insert

3mm thick Aluminum Composite Material (ACM) – same as noted above.

Fastening System

Main structure connections are mechanical. Overlay facias are applied using high performance, low-profile Velcro or are secured within a channel in the extrusion.

Insulation

1 ½” thick mineral wool batt acoustic insulation, non-combustible with a melting point of approximately 2150°F (1177°C).

Electrical/Lighting

Modular UL approved electrical for outlets and lighting that can be installed by assembly crew.  Electrician only needed for single live feed.

Ceiling – Tile

Ceiling tiles ¾” thick, NRC (sound absorption) rating of 0.75 and CAC (sound blocking) rating of 35. Flame spread rating Class A, tested in accordance with ASTM E84 or UL 723.

Ceiling – Baffle

Acoustic baffles 9mm thick, typically 12”h. Made from PET acoustical felt with NRC rating of 0.75. Flame spread rating Class A, tested and classified in accordance with ASTM E84 or UL 723.

Full Frame Assembly

Wall frame assembly achieves 50 STC rating.

Either ¼” laminated glass or ¼” tempered. Laminated glass option with 35 STC rating. Tempered glass with 31 STC rating.

Solid core door 1-3/8” thick, typical 36”w x 80”h, with laminate finish. Hollow core door also available.
